 親愛的天父:

我打開心接受祢成為我一生的幫助

*有健康的身體- 達到最佳狀態溫習考試。
*有智慧聰明- 每一科的基礎都融會貫通。
*有效率- 善用時間有效地溫習功課
*有專注力- 一讀就可以吸收溫習內容。

Easter Sunday 20.04.25 in Ipoh

Found a not-too-bad study place at Starbucks Palo101 with free parking. But I had to have one grande of Americano cost RM9.50. I don't usually take coffee unless I need to drive. But in order to enjoy the Starbucks facility, 不得不买 Americano 🥴
我从 1pm 坐到 9pm。好处是我没地方睡觉所以我可以不得不一直读和做我该做的。 

我决定以后 weekend 和 post call 都来了。谢谢嘉瑜的 recommendations 😊

Post Call Thoughts 💭

🍄 Do not put others under the bus as an individual. You work as a team 

🍄 Stabilize PROPERly the trachea when introducing the tracheostomy tube (Percutaneous Tracheostomy)

🍄 Traumatic brain injury, make sure check the scalp wound as it is difficult to hemostasis 

🍄 Look for active bleeding if the HB didn't improve despite transfusion. Even though the HB is persistently 9. 

🍄 If patient difficult to medically controlled for agitation, Rikers 7, suspect usage of recreational drugs and giver low regular morphine 2.5mg sc (not responding to chlorpromazine, risperidone, halo, propofol). Apply nicotine patch. 

🍄 Brain death test 24 hours after off sedation

🍄 Got to be familiar with overview of diseases' treatment to avoid delay from others team 

🍄 Get to know patient's family dynamic/ hx, make you more empathy during the clinical practice. They are also someone's family. 

Got to jot these down so it won't easily slip out from my 🧠 

Need to start doing this more often

Week 2 March 2025

 So long never jot down some daily rambling here. 

Been busy with watching series and studying on and off at the same time. 


Despite still non-stop watching series, there's some small improvements 😬:

-not so much binge series watching 

-a bit more reading

-MORE/ almost daily 灵修 via youtube video specific channel 

-realization of the importance of mastering the basic physiology of human body (Thanks to Dr Foong)

Now that I'd completed my series, hope I won't start a new series till long. I have 3 presentations and 2 Sunday school classes to prepare. Parents coming for visit next week.

Need to pray more diligently for good time management. 

And also to start writing journal at least once a week.....😶‍🌫️..

Or should I just jot down few words once in a few days? 🤔

Packed Lunch 😋

Been consistent with eating clean habit. Last week grocery can last for 6 days which means it's really much cheaper preparing your own foods. 
Monday to Wednesday lunch (3-5 Feb 2025)

Tomorrow will be oncall day, gotta prepare for lunch and dinner tomorrow. Starting to feel excited and looking forward preparing daily lunch 😊 Tomorrow menu will be sardin macaroni and lots of vegetables and mushrooms 🍄 

Today 🚗 wash after few weeks.

Eat clean and save 💰 - Day 2

Two days ago, after lunch, colleague suddenly told me that I look pale, but I felt usual and no symptoms. So, I was curious bout having hypoglycemia but I had a large amount lunch, a treat from colleague, high carb big big amount of rice with vegetables. To my surprise, 3 hours post meal, my capillary glucose reading 9.0mmol 😱 Couldn't believe it, after 30 minutes I checked again, 8.7mmol 🥴

As usual, I'm very worry that it's the time my pancreas going to fail me, I googled up lab to test my HBA1c. Few days ago, I came across Insta reel regarding thin people getting prediabetes cause of low muscle mass.

Since I started training in ICU in Oct 2024, I had started ordering Grab with colleagues for lunch despite concerning about microplastics from the packaging, and much spending. 

So, I have decided, from now on, I'm going to eat clean, and prepare my lunch meal every single day. And survey how much I spend on my daily meal a week. Yesterday bought bunch of whole foods veggies that hopefully can last for 1 week...

👆My dinner today, broccoli, cheese cubes, abalone mushroom and an 🥚 (Day 2 clean eat). My lunch was broccoli stems and more abalone mushroom and cheese cubes and an 🥚. Cost me: 
Broccoli 🥦 x1= RM 3
2 eggs= RM 0.70
Abalone mushroom= RM 2.98
TOTAL= 11 🤑 

Hope my HBA1c comes back normal.....
